No. Although I'm a licensed and board certified OB/GYN, in this practice I am not providing exams, annual exams, or hospital care including surgery and deliveries, etc. You will still need to see specialists or your primary provider. This practice is consultation only.
There is a shortage of physicians in our area, including those qualified to diagnose and treat postpartum women with anxiety and depression. This practice aims to address that need.
No. I am an OB/GYN with a special interest in treating anxiety and mental health during and after pregancy. I also have experience in treating a wide variety of women's health concerns. Like a psychiatrist, however, I can prescribe appropriate medication and coordinate care among specialists, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists when I feel that is appropriate.
No. I am not contracted with any insurers at this time. I am happy to provide a superbill that you can provide your insurer for reimbursement.
Although I may make some exceptions, I prefer that the initial visit be in person. Telemedicine visits may be possible for follow-up visits.
Yes. Medication may or may not be a part of your treatment plan. We will discuss options, risks, and such during your visit.
No. I'm here to listen to you and to help coordinate your care, but there are others who are better trained for continual care.
To both allow us to focus solely on you and your needs, and as the office is shared with multiple providers and therapists, we request that you find care for your child for the appointment. If this is not possible, a telemedicine visit might be arranged.
There is street parking available at 1411 Marsh St. but unfortunately no patient-specific spots in the parking garage.
